Welcome to PepperCo Research (“PepperCo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website at peppercoresearch.com (the “Site”), creating a researcher account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Site or place an order.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age to access this Site, create a researcher account, or place an order. By using this Site, you represent and warrant that you are 21 years of age or older and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Research Use Only

All products sold by PepperCo Research are intended solely for laboratory research purposes. Products are not intended for human consumption, animal use, diagnostic procedures, clinical use, or therapeutic application. By purchasing any product from PepperCo Research, you acknowledge that you are purchasing research reagents and agree to handle all materials in accordance with applicable laboratory safety protocols and regulations.

3. Researcher Accounts

To place an order, you must create a researcher account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information including a valid email address, full name, and phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account credentials with any third party.

4. Orders and Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. PepperCo Research reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time, including orders that appear fraudulent, that violate these Terms, or that originate from restricted jurisdictions. Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms receipt of your order — it does not constitute acceptance of your order. Your order is accepted when your order status changes to “Processing” or when your order ships, whichever occurs first.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must be received in full before an order is processed and shipped. Any applicable taxes, including state and local sales tax, will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.

6. Backordered Products

Some products may be listed as backordered due to demand or manufacturing schedules. By placing an order for a backordered product, you acknowledge and agree that:

Processing times for backordered products may be longer than standard processing times.
Your order will be fulfilled as soon as the product becomes available.
You will not cancel your order, initiate a chargeback, or dispute the transaction due to backorder delays once the order has been placed and payment has been processed.
If you wish to cancel a backordered item before it ships, you may request store credit equal to the purchase amount.

7. Shipping

All orders are shipped via signature-required delivery. You must be available to sign for your package upon delivery. We do not offer opt-outs from the signature requirement under any circumstances. For full shipping details, please review our Shipping Policy.

8. Returns and Refunds

PepperCo Research offers store credit only — we do not issue cash refunds. Any report of damaged or incorrect items must be submitted within 24 hours of receipt. For full return and refund details, please review our Return & Refund Policy.

9. No Cancellations After Processing

Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you wish to return a product after receipt, you must follow the procedures outlined in our Return & Refund Policy. Chargebacks initiated after an order has been processed or shipped, in violation of these Terms, may result in account suspension.

10. Chargeback Policy

By placing an order with PepperCo Research, you authorize the charge to your payment method. You agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for any order that has been processed and shipped in accordance with these Terms, including orders containing backordered products that experienced delayed processing. If you believe an error has been made, you must contact us first at info@peppercoresearch.com to resolve the issue before contacting your bank or card issuer. Initiating a chargeback in violation of these Terms may result in permanent account suspension and a ban from future orders.

11. Product Information and Accuracy

We strive to ensure that all product information, including specifications, purity levels, and Certificates of Analysis, is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on this Site is error-free. If a product is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy for store credit.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, product names, and software, is the property of PepperCo Research or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise use any content from this Site without our prior written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PepperCo Research shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or any product purchased from this Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of this Site or any product shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PepperCo Research, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claim, demand, damages, or expense (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of this Site, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of any product purchased from PepperCo Research.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of this Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
